Neck Pain
ALSO CALLED “CERVICALGIA”
Cervicalgia is the name for a collection of symptoms involving neck pain.
SYMPTOMS
The symptoms of cervicalgia are many and varied. They can include soreness, difficulty turning your head, sharp, stinging pain, or an aching pain. Irritation in the neck can also affect the nerves and muscles connected to the head, triggering a tension headache. It’s important to tell the doctor about all the symptoms you are experiencing—even if you think they aren’t related—so they can make an accurate diagnosis.
